WebFeb 4, 2010 · I replaced mine with a simple 3 position spring to centre switch like you propose, but as Richard says it will not have the reverse time delay as recommended for charter boats. As long as you let the thruster stop before reversing it should be OK. Vetus do do a separate time delay but is still costly if you wish to fit it later.
