Under the guidance of Atul Bose, Mr. Ash founded the Academy of Fine Arts in 1933. WebChittaprosad Bhattacharya was a pioneer of highly-politicized, socio-responsive art in India. Working predominantly with paper, using ink or the linocut process, his images are graphically impactful and bristle with emotion.
