He served with RCAF #10 Bomber Reconnaissance (BR) Squadron, where he repaired Douglas Digby’s and Consolidated B24 Liberator Bombers. When Doug left Gander he was posted to RCAF Stations in Scoudouc NB and Greenwood NS.
